I must of dozed of because the next thing I knew I heard Nick screaming my name. “KRISTIN! KRISTIN!!” “What!?!?” I screamed back, sleepily. “Ha, I just wanted to wake you up.” He sighed. “Ugh!! What time is it?!” I demanded. “Ha, according to your cell phone,” He whipped out my cell phone from his pocket, “it’s 7:30.” I glared at him and snatched my phone away. “How did you get my phone?!” “I took it.” He said while smirking. I sighed as I rolled my eyes and walked over to the window. I looked outside, and saw Kayla and Joe running around laughing each other. Then Joe picked up Kayla and twirled her around. They were so happy.
I couldn′t help but remember one day, when me and Nick were playing in his backyard… I was 13, and Nick was 14. We were best friends. We’d do everything together… Anyway, Nick and I were running around the pool, when Nick ran by me and “accidentally” pushed me in. But as I was falling, I somehow managed to pull Nick in with me. We came up from under water and we stared at each other and cracked up. It was amazing, especially since Nick was holding my hand the hold time…
I was shaken out of my thoughts as I felt Nick’s warm breath on the back of my neck. All the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I felt shivers down my spine. I continued to look out at Kayla and Joe when Nick whispered something in my ear… “Boo…” I turned around slowly, only to see Nick standing inches away from me. His face was inches away from mine. I didn′t say anything back. He leaned in, and once he was centimeters away from my lips, he whispered, “You suck.” And he just walked away.

Okay, when I first saw the movie, I wasn’t that big of a fan of the Linguini/Colette pairing. I’m slowly beginning to like it, though, and I was watching Cats Don’t Dance the other day when I again heard this song and the idea for this vid bit my brain.
The song is an old favorite of mine sung by Natalie Cole for Warner Bros./Turner Feature’s truly underrated movie “Cat’s Don’t Dance”. The song seemed like such a suitable “Colette’s POV” tune for the part right after she finds out Linguini’s been consorting with Remy the whole time and she runs out of the restaraunt. I also thought that the background blues/jazz music of the song sounded a LOT like something Michael Giacchino would compose. This music still just gives me spine-shivers. 
Also, anyone who remembers seeing the actual scene of this song from “Cats Don’t Dance” may recognize that I took a lead from the scene on the short “flashback” sequence towards the end of the video. I really liked how that was used in the official video of the song, so I thought I’d try to do something like it. 
Okay, two more little things and I’ll shut up. One, the only track of the song I could find off the bat is a recording direct from its parent movie, so you’ll hear some oddly placed sound effects throughout it. Sorry. ^^;; Second, I actually made a version of this MV with the French track of the song over it, and I think it sounded REALLY cool. 
If enough people are curious about it, I may think to put it up.
